1. Scope of service

weniger is an app for private spending challenges. Users can create accounts, manage private challenges, send invitations, add spending manually, and review related insights.

The live feature scope is defined by the product as published at the time of use. The actual technical state of the service is decisive.

2. Registration and account

• Protected features require a user account.
• Registration data must be complete and accurate.
• Credentials must be kept confidential and protected from third-party access.
• Accounts are personal and non-transferable.

3. Permitted use

• weniger may only be used lawfully and within its intended purpose.
• Misuse includes attacks against availability or security, automated extraction outside approved interfaces, and use of third-party accounts without authorization.
• Invitations and challenge content must not contain unlawful, misleading, or abusive content.

4. Availability and changes

weniger is operated with reasonable care. Continuous, uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

The operator may further develop, modify, or discontinue functions where this reasonably balances the legitimate interests of the operator and users.

5. Liability

The operator is fully liable for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, and where liability is mandatory by law.

For slight negligence, liability exists only for breach of essential contractual obligations and is limited to the typical foreseeable damage.

weniger supports the organisation of private spending challenges and does not provide financial, investment, or legal advice.

6. Term and termination

Users may delete their account at any time. Account deletion ends the user relationship for that account.

The operator may suspend or terminate accounts for good cause, especially in cases of serious breach of these terms or misuse of the service.

7. Pricing and paid features

The currently live core feature set of weniger is available free of charge.

No paid plans or in-app purchases are currently offered.

8. Governing law

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
